Hello Ana Maria,

We would like to say a warm hello and welcome to our
family. I am sending a few pictures just to give you a preview of who we
are and give you an idea of the place where you will live.

A road trip (drive) we drove through the countryside and
stopped at ice cream stores. Sarah is in the front she just turned 9,
Helen is wearing red pants - she is your host mother. Song-Yi is wearing
longer green pants (on the left) She is from Korea and will be staying
with us for another year. Yukiko is on the right and has just returned to
Japan. She stayed with us for two years. I am taking the picture.
I am a teacher at the school you will be attending next year.

We are leaving on Saturday (tomorrow) for two and 1/2 weeks of holidays.
We are driving to Ottawa - Canada's Capital to visit family. When we
return, we can send more e-mails and answer any questions you may have.

Please let your parents know we will take very good care of you, treat you
like you are our daughter and try to provide you with a great experience
in Canadian living.
